How long have you been using it and Is it stable with Windows 7 Pro? Did you uninstall Windows Security Essentials for Avira?
First yes Avira is good for windows 7 pro and also yes you need to uninstall MS security essentials if you use Avira... Use of one anti virus is recommended instead of using two.. because if you use both then it provides negative or positive faults results during scanning..
Thanks Dashing Star...I appreciate your advice.
I don't know anyone that uses it. I use BitDefender Free Edition & haven't had any problems since switching from MSE. On the following review site, Avira tied for 10th out of the 22 AV programs tested.
If you are thinking of getting Avira Free Antivirus Beware it will install Potentially Unwanted Programs (PUPs). i_Xp/Vista/W7User
