How do you get rid of the Spigot Trojan?!

August 2, 2011 at 08:14:37
Specs: Windows 7
I've already run IObit, SuperAntiSpyware, Malwarebytes' Anti Malware and Norton. The one that I ran last of all, IObit, found a trojan. But my laptop was still playing up - SUPERAntiSpyware keeps alerting me because my Home Page Changed (I keep clicking block).

In processes in Task Manager I found seachsettings.exe. I ended this process but SUPERAntiSpyware keeps alerting me. So I search for searchsettings.exe in C:\ and it was under a folder called Spigot. Which apparently is a trojan. I deleted this folder permanently and cannot see anything unusual running in Task Manager but SUPERAntiSpyware still keeps alerting me, which makes me think I haven't got rid of it all. Now when I try to run SUPERAntiSpyware, it just crashes. (Not Responding).

Please help!!!
