how do I stop these emails

Specs: Windows 7
Hello, I'm getting hundreds of emails every day saying: A message that you sent could not be delivered to one or more of its
recipients. This is a permanent error. The following address(es) failed:
Can anyone please help me as its driving me insane as these are addresses I have not sent emails to

I would suspect that your email account has been hacked and it is being used to send out spam email, some of which is bouncing back, hence getting the messages you are receiving.

The definitive cure depends on what sort of email you have (webmail, company email, standard ISP email or whatever) but the first thing to do is to log into your email account and change your password - this might be enough but if not then post back with more info.

yes I think its definitely been hacked but I cant change anything, its a company email with Mozilla Thunderbird,there doesn't seem to be an option to change the password

It's not necessarily you that's been infected. It could be someone who has you in their address book

But yeah, first try changing the password and maybe run some scans for email viruses.

If it is a company email then it may be best to contact whoever handles your IT support and let them know of the problem.
