How do I get rid of a virus on hotmail?

October 28, 2010 at 11:17:20
Specs: N/A
I keep recieving a lot of emails at the time from "postmaster@mail.hotmail.com" with the subject "Delivery Status Notification (Failure)‏" and with an email that I've never seen before. However 2 friends told me they are receiving emails from me (that i never wrote) quite frequently, and these friends are in my contact list.
I tried changing my password and I unsubscribe to these publicity website things to see if it would change anything, but i continue to recieve these emails!
I don't know what else to do to be honest, but i don't want to have to create annother email because i don't want to lose this one.. please help!

"and I unsubscribe to these publicity website things to see if it would change anything"

WOW! I would say you really jammed that stuff into your registry by doing that. First rule, don't click on anything in an email you don't know.

You can try cleaning out some malware by using malwarebytes, remove all it finds.

Some HELP in posting on Computing.net plus free progs and instructions Cheers
