How do I fix Redirect problem?

Specs: Windows 7, 2.203 GHz / 3062 MB
First whitesmoke toolbar was automatically on my computer. Then I heard commercials coming from nowhere. Tried to download Ad Aware. Would not allow me to. Did system restore to an older date, to no avail. My Stopsign antivirus got rid of a trojan, but apparently not. I downloaded Malware Bytes, it found like 19 infected things, and allegedly got rid of them. And yet, I still have the redirect to sites like Scour! Where do I go from here? I guess I should probably start saving my files. And looks like a system recovery situation.

P.S. I have Windows 7.

Help!

You could try Hitman pro http://www.surfright.nl/en/downloads/ and TDSSKiller by Kaspersky. http://support.kaspersky.com/viruse... These tools are known to deal with redirect issues.

Ok Thomasbearman, I tried the Hitman, looked like it deleted a lot. But when it went to restart. I could not. Now it goes to startup repair. And it says it can't fix automatically. Whether I try in safemode, or even system restore. Nothing works!! I'm screwed, right?!
