Acer / Travelmate 5720

Specs: Windows XP, 1.995 GHz / 1014 MB
I was recently infected by the Trojan Vundo virus and although it appears that I've been able to remove it my system now shows the following errors on start-up: 1) RUNDLL, ERROR LOADING wvvstt.dll, The specific model could not be found. 2) RUNDLL, ERROR LOADING Yaxvsq.dll, The specific model could not be found. and 3) RUNDLL, ERROR LOADING gededd.dll, The specific model could not be found. How do I repair this?

those are obviously trojan files if you can't find them on google.
What did you use to try to remedy your problem?

I attempted to a) locate information on the microsoft website and the web without success b) Windows Security Essentials and c) FixCleaner software. If they're trojan files how to solve the problem?

thanks for the info. Try a full scan with Malwarebytes for starters:
http://www.filehippo.com/download_m...
DON'T download the regsitry mechanic from that site, JUST Malwarebytes.

EXCELLENT! Thanks for posting back.

You may also want to do some free scans with
1-Trojan Remover
2- Hitman Pro
Remove all they find and then uninstall them using their own uninstaller from all programs.
DON'T use add/remove as it will not uninstall them properly.
Good Luck
