Novice computers users wouldn't even know what scripts are and that Python is a programming language, so I think you must have more experience than you let on. :)

What exactly is happening? What behavior are you seeing? Are you detecting intrusion through network ports by using a firewall? More information would be very helpful.

(Hi Jeffiner...)

Some these "olde ladies" are very skilful; I bet they know more than they let on - mmm

For many/most of us "olde" - ooops sorry - "more mature" - chaps Python would likely first bring "Monty of the same name" to mind...

Bryngeth ye back John Cleese and chums, and Video Arts too...

Download OTL, save & run from your Desktop. If your default download location is not the Desktop, drag it out of it's location onto the Desktop.
Double click the OTL icon to start the tool. (Note: If you are running on Vista or Windows 7 accept UAC alert)
1: When the window appears, underneath Output at the top, make sure Standard output is selected.
2: Select Scan all users
3: Change Drivers to All
4: Under the Extra Registry section, check Use SafeList
5: In the lower right corner, checkmark "LOP Check" and checkmark "Purity Check".
6: Click Run Scan and let the program run uninterrupted.
Screenshots ( SS ) of 1 - 6
When the scan is complete, two text files will be created on your Desktop
OTL.Txt <- this one will be opened
Extras.txt <- this one will be minimized

Upload the logs using this. I upload to for images & for files ( neither need an account ) Give us the links please.

Strongly advise you edit your last post and remove the yahoo email address... "Never" post a valid email address in "any" open forum or chat room. It's asking to be hit with spam, spoof emails generated; and even worse problems similar to those you have at present?

Possibly a moderator will come across here and remove it for you; but if not then again - ensure you do remove that email address.

If Comcast have notified you of a bot virus I would definitely follow Johnw's (response #7) advice above.

Once you have been given the all clear a consideration might be to request an IP address change, or request going from a static to a dynamic IP address. Unless of course you need a static IP address.
