How can I remove skolewcho virus?

October 23, 2010 at 08:10:03
Specs: Windows 22.10.2010
There's absolutly nothing I can do. My Norton security keeps saying that it blocked an intrusion attempt from this website, but it finds nothing when I scan it. I tried finding help online, but because of the stupid virus, I'm blocked from nearly every website. Does anyone know how to get rid of it? i don't care what I have to do, even if it means deleting everything on my laptop (its only a week old) I'm also not very knowledgable in terms of computers, so please provide specific instructions. Thanks!

"My Norton security keeps saying that it blocked an intrusion attempt from this website"
1st thing I would suggest is to unload Norton security and replacing it with Avast Free...much better protection and no scheduled scans plus auto updates daily.

Now you can try these free cleaners:
1- trojan remover
2- hitman pro
remove all they find

PS: Norton was severley over-rated years ago when they paid to have a trial bundled in almost every PC sold to coax people into believing it was the best around...WRONG
All it is is a resource hog and mostly useless at the best of times ;-)

If you like severe congestion on your PC, keep Norton, that's about all it is good for IMHO

Some HELP in posting on plus free progs and instructions Cheers

Try 1) Spybot Search and Destroy, 2) SuperAntiSpyware 3) Malwarebytes and 4) Hitman Pro 3. I got all 4 from safe sources. Try Cnetdownload. I think the combination of all 4 killed this virus. Thanks to XpUser4Real for pointing out Hitman. That was the missing key. Also look for a Python program in your add/remove program files. I'm not positive it was related, but removing that (since I didn't install it) seemed to be the key to letting the antimalware programs detect a Trojan.
