How can i get rid of 'Antivirus Soft'

Specs: Windows Vista
there's this thing on my computer claiming its an antivirus. but it pops up saying its blocking supposed viruses. and tries to direct me to a site to purchase it.
i've seen it is like antivirus 2009 and i tried to remove it with malwarebytes but it didnt work. help?

As you know "Antivirus Soft" is a fake rogue spyware program, yous hould remove it from your pc. to remove it, download a free antispyware or follow the manual removal steps within this tutorial

I also faced similar problem but i scanned my PC with Kaspersky AV (trail version).That highlighting balloon remained in the corner for few days and automatically disappeared, later i came to know that was a so called Ransom Virus.

That is a lie, malwarebytes works in all modes.

and remove all it finds
Then try Hitman Pro

run both of those till your PC is clean.
