Hit by virus unable to open XP control panel

Microsoft Windows xp professional w/sp2

Specs: Windows XP
I'm using win xp sp2 professional,my ps got effected by ghost.exe,khatra.exe and xplorer.exe, somehow i've deleted these viruses,but now not able to open my control panel,its not showing any where in pc. i tried to custmise my start manu and my computer but its not working,please help

i suggest to fix this using easy way. repair your windows. boot and repair windows only in xp. in vista got 1 features to fix windows files problem, just use that tool. need cd to use that tool.

i thanks for reply but it didn't work..now my many folder are getting duplicated.. i'm using avast antivirus ,its telling every duplicates file which got generated is a virus.. i'm getting tired of deleting them again and again... should i formet my pc or some other option is there which cn help...??????????

If you boot into safe mode will it open?
