hi i have a redir.js virus i think

Specs: Windows 7
hi all, ive picked up a google redirecting virus and cant get rid of it. Its the type that will redirects me to a different site for the first 4 to 5 times after i click a link and takes me to random websites. i did a full scan with malware and avg and they both came up clean. the a pop up from avg came up and said it found 11 instances of the virus dududu.js in different locations as well and identifying it as a js/redir.ax virus... dont really know what that means i just want it gone. please help.

Download Rkill from BleepingComputers.com at this link:
Then rescan with Malwarebytes.

To add to MrGoodguys advice, you should also consider uninstalling Java on the pc until the disinfection is complete then reinstalling with the latest version.

so i tried running rkill but everytime windows shut itself down with the blue screen say it had to do so before anything harmful happened to the computer

If RKill will not run at all, give exeHelper a try.

exeHelper, download to your desktop.
