Have we been hacked - BSOD and System 32 err

Specs: Windows 7
We have two computers and an ex-wife who has told ppl she is going to hack us. The first pc (desktop, windows XP) went down with a system 32 error suddenly, it has been restored since. The second, a laptop (windows 7), has had persistent BSOD until it will no longer start without going to blue. This is still down.
We have been using skype a lot, and these problems seem to follow skype usage. Is this possible; are we likely to have been hacked/cracked? The Wicked X did break into one of our Facebook accounts and change the password, and someone else who was skyping us now has computer problems. Could they be related?
Also, any suggestions for fixing the BSOD error?

This should help with the bsod error (blue screen of death)
The next link will help find out if the ex has a key logger on your pc?http://it.toolbox.com/blogs/securitymonkey/detecting-windows-keyloggers-1352
Download Malwarebytes update it and run a full scan, do this in safe mode.
Install and use a good Antivirus program with a good firewall.
Has your ex had access to your pc after she became the ex?
I would also uninstall Skype and reinstall it.
