Hacker directly communicates with the user

Specs: Windows XP
Someone is watching what I do on the internet and sending popup boxes saying things to me. For instance, "Get off Facebook" while I'm on Facebook or "Think clearing your computer history will save you?" when I clear my computer history. My web browsers also open without any physical input by me and do things like watch YouTube videos, etc.

It's highly unlikely anybody is watching your machine, per se - it's likely a piece of annoyanceware or similar.

The easiest way to check, is to use ProcMon (sysinternals) and monitor your browser and use TCPView to check for unusual traffic:

This way, you can make your own, informed opinion about the occurrences and act accordingly.

Sounds more like a browser hijack than an actual hacker. What browser are you using? Are you running up-to-date anti-virus?
