Specs: Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium, 2 GHz / 2GB
Tried Kospersky Labs TDSS Killer, to no avail. What is causing this? is it the Google itself, or is there a bug in my registry or elsewhere on that system?
I type in a search word and get results, but when I click on one of the list, I get some moonbat website instead of where I know it should have gone. This is driving my wife nuts!!!

✔ Best Answer
it may be an unwanted rootkit installed. Try these 3 cleaners in the EXACT order listed and DO NOT REBOOT untill the last scan has finished.
1- rkill,.exe

2- TDSS Killer
http://support.kaspersky.com/faq/?q...
3- Malwarebytes

run them all and fix what they find, now you can reboot

XPuser4Real- Thank you very much! Your tip there about which order to proceed in worked best. I may have done it differently before and not succeeded.
Your help is well appreciated.
