Specs: Windows XP
My google links are re-directing. Don't know what to do. I have downloaded Hijackthis but dont know which file to remove can someone pls pls help!

try using a search engine on your questionable items. It is a wealth of information for you.

Try malwarebytes. The newest version looks to be 1.46:

Click the 'download now' to get the free version. Save it in a folder where you can find it. Then click on it to run it as you would any other program. That will install it on your computer and give you a desktop icon. After the install it will probably give you the option to run it then or you can close that and run it later using the icon.

Unless the infestation is too new for malewarebytes to recognize it should fix it. If not, we can try hijackthis and see what turns up. But don't do hijackthis just yet.
