Full "empty" Folder

Specs: Windows 7
My new computer recently filled its hard drive
for no reason. The locked User file that is
under my name apparently has 250 GB on it.
When I opened the file and checked the sum
of hard drive space being used by all the files
in my User file there appeared to be only
25GB. For some reason there is an extra 225
GB not visible. I tried to move the visible files
into a new folder and delete the User file but it
was locked and I couldn't. Is there any way to
get rid of the excess hidden files from my c

Best if you get some more info on what is in there.

Folder Options
To access: Control Panel > Folder Options or My Computer or Windows Explorer > Tools > Folder Options
Tick > Show hidden files and folders. Also uncheck > Hide protected operating system files. Click > Apply & OK.
