Hi! My computer has been attacked by a virus (or trojan?) via usb which put ".exe" after each folder in the root of all drives. It was removed by updated Kaspersky but now I can't see that folders (only those in the root) via windows explorer, but thay can be seen by other browsers like ACDSee or they can be accessed via typing their exact names in the address bar. What should I do to remove this bad effect?
ur folders have been hidden by the virus.u need to update ur antivirus and run a scan. after that u need to to unhide the folders. u can do it from command prompt or u can use a software such as rrt(remove restrictions) , there u need to check the options that best suites u. u may have to restart ur pc after running the software. it is a free tool.
