Fake Windows Security Center

Specs: Windows XP, HP
The other morning I picked up my laptop and had two virus/spyware popups on my desktop. One was Malware Defense and the other was Windows Security Center. My wireless internet was also down. I ran a boot time scan with avast that did not turn up anything so I go online on my friends laptop where I read I should download malwarebytes anti malware. SInce I had no internet I saved malwarebytes on a usb drive and loaded it on my laptop. When I ran malwarebyes anti it seems to have gotten rid of the Malware Defense virus, but not the fake Windows Security Center one and my internet is still down. I start college again in 2 days and really need internet, can anyone please help me....

I have rkill and CCleaner downloaded onto my laptop as well now.

Download these 3 things to a thumb drive or burn them to a CD on another PC and intsall and run them on your PC.
1- Malwarebytes
2- Trojan remover
3- unhackme (follow the beginners guide) run that untill there are no infections left.

Just ignore all the pop-ups from the infections when you are running the cleaners.

Run those and if they don't load in regular mode, do it in safe mode.

Once there are no more infections you can uninstall trojan remover and unhackme in the add/remove programs.

I removed those infections on 7 different PC's in the past few days.
