error communicating with kernel

Specs: Windows XP
Hello Everyone, first let's introduce myself because I'm new on this forum.
My name is Vasco and Nice to Meet U!

Originally, I'm from Bulgaria (Europe), but currently I'm a student in the USA.

All my problems started this Saturday on February 12, 2012 while I was surfing on Internet. Suddenly, I heard my computer very noisy and decided immediately to check my Windows Task Manager and what I noticed in processes was that svchost.exe was taken almost 100% of my CPU Usage. Then, I immediately ended this process although that that there were 3 other svchost.exe processes which were taking 0% of my CPU Usage. After I ended this one svchost.exe which was taking 100% of my CPU Usage, my Internet connection immediately dropped and then I was unable to reconnect again. What I had to do was to Restart my laptop in order to connect again to Internet.

After I restarted my laptop, I got immediately a message on my Screen “Generic Host Process for Win32 Services”. And then when I went back on Google and typed any search, I was immediately redirected to or

At this moment, I realized that I got a virus because the svchost.exe continued to take 100% of my CPU Usage and when I ended this process, I immediately lost my internet connection but in the same time another process started to take 100% of my CPU Usage and that was some plugin-container.

After I restarted my laptop again, this time I decided just not to stop svchost.exe because I needed my internet in order to find some help and the help that I found was located at this web-site: from which I learned this: hard drive(C)/windows/system32/drivers/ect/ (delete) hosts

After I restarted my computer, there was no solution on my computer, for this reason the next what I did was located on this web-site: This was the solution on my problem how I got rid off the message “Generic Host Process for Win32 Services”

But the very TRUE Solution on my problem came from this web-site: What I was advised was to download TDSSKiller from the web-site of Kaspersky and after I installed it, it immediately found 1 threat but it was unable to delete it. Instead of that, my NOD32 Anti-virus program immediately identified that I have received 4 Trojan Viruses with the name of Kaspersky TDSSKiller which were immediately put under Quarantine. After that I restarted my laptop, and my all problems were resolved.
But in exchange for the solution of my problems, I got a NEW PROBLEM. My problem with Google-Redirect and Generic Host Process disappeared BUT now when I start up my Windows XP, my Eset NOD32 Antivirus program does not want to start up automatically. I checked that in Services it is started automatically. But in fact it does not start automatically with the start up of my Windows. Then I checked that in the C:/Documents and Settings/All Users/Start Menu/Programs/Startup – NOD32 was missing. What I did was to copy and paste the icon with the kernel from C:/Program Files/Eset/Nod32 into the C:/Documents and Settings/All Users/Start Menu/Programs/Startup and the problem was resolved only temporally. After I restarted my Laptop, NOD32 started up with the start up of my Windows.

BUT 24 Hours later, when I started my computer, this time instead of my NOD32 Antivirus-program to start up automatically, I received immediately with each next start-up of my Windows the following message:

Error communicating with kernel

Now NOD32 does not want to start automatically with the start up of my Computer. Please, help me how to fix this problem. I need very much this program again because it helped me a lot in the past! Also, I’m unable to uninstall it and to re-install it because I don’t have the Registration Key since the computer is not mine, and the owner of the computer is on the other end of the World in another country and I have not talked with him for more than 3 years, even he has already forgotten that his computer is missing. I’ll return it back after my graduation.

I'll be very grateful if someone may help me resolve my problem!

Upadate Information!

Today I conducted Online Scan on my laptop by using

And the results from the Scan are as follows -

C:\Documents and Settings\Vasko\My Documents\Downloads\FreeYouTubeDownloaderSetup.exe Win32/Toolbar.Zugo application deleted - quarantined
C:\TDSSKiller_Quarantine\13.02.2012_06.05.42\mbr0000\tdlfs0000\tsk0001.dta a variant of Win32/Olmarik.AYH trojan cleaned by deleting - quarantined
C:\TDSSKiller_Quarantine\13.02.2012_06.05.42\mbr0000\tdlfs0000\tsk0003.dta a variant of Win32/Rootkit.Kryptik.JG trojan cleaned by deleting - quarantined
C:\WINDOWS\Temp\akxobcgg.exe a variant of Win32/Kryptik.AAJB trojan cleaned by deleting - quarantined

Then I restarted immediately My Computer and unfortunately, I received the same message when NOD32 tried to start up it was prevented by this message -

error communicating with kernel

I'm able to start it only manually but not automatically....

I downloaded ESET NOD32 Antivirus 5 from this web-site:

Then, I installed immediately ESET NOD32 Antivirus 5 and finally I got into troubles. I received a message: ESET NOD32 ERROR 2502, Installation is not complete. In fact, the installation ended at 99% and then I received the above message.

After I got this message, I lost my internet connection and even I was unable to open the Windows Task Manager. The name of all icons on my computer disappeared. The only one solution was just to re-start my laptop.

AND then when I rebooted my computer, I was surprised really very NICE. Finally my NOD32 started up automatically with the start up of my computer! The only one difference is its interface, now this is maybe some new NOD32.

But in exchange for the solution of this problem, this time my Weather Channel disappeared from my Start-Up menu. Now, I don't know whether to regret for the Weather Channel, it showed me what is the temperature in real time. But anyway, the most important is that now my NOD32 started up automatically with the start up of my Windows.

The only one thing that I don't know now - Is the problem finally solved? Or that's only a temporarily solution. I hope that my all problems have already ended.
