Email pswrd reset link being snt 2 unknwn add

February 7, 2011 at 00:52:15
Specs: Windows 7
When trying to reset my hotmail password using the "email me a password reset link" option, I'm unable to change the email address they have listed where the "reset link" is to be sent. Here is the email address they keep showing, which is unknown to me:

_______________________________ sa***** _____________________________

I'm then given the choice to.... "SEND" or "CANCEL". When I opt to send, It's immediately followed by a confirmation of my "password reset link" being sent to address listed above.

I can't check my e-mails cause I can't login to my hotmail account.
I've had the same e-mail address for over 5 years.

Recently, some of my friends/contacts have received e-mails from my email address by someone posing to be me, acting as if I we're in serious trouble in another country, then asking for help to get back home.

I think those emails & the address above corrulate with eachother & that they're stealing email passwords to gain private email account info & contacts/address book.

Why can't I reset my password or change the address where link is sent?
All my important messages saved in my email unacsessible.
Please help me.

There must be a hotmail address you can contact about this. You've been thoroughly hijacked and there's no direct way to get back in. It requires intervention.

Hopefully you exported your contacts and valuable email, so that if necessary you can start a new account without loss.
