Take it back for a refund or get the store you bought it from to provide you with the password. Didn't you check it out before purchase?

We don't normally help on passwords because we have no way to prove ownership. It can be very difficult to circumvent HDD passwords.

911? It's not life threatening.

Always pop back and let us know the outcome - thanks

Windows passwords are easily wiped out; HDD passwords are next to impossible. Changing the HDD won't help either. Take the laptop back to the 2nd hand store & request a refund.
