Does SYN, ACKs and FIN packets count into the number of packets for retrieving a webpage?
For example in frame 3, client sends out a SYN packet
And in frame 25, host sents back a FIN packet, which i consider the transmission of the first request is done. So does that mean to retrieve this first request requires 22 packets?
p/s: using wireshark
All packets count. However, if broadcast packets appeared in between the packets sent & received from the server, they don't count. There are filters in wireshark to eliminate broadcast packets. How do you know when a politician is lying? His mouth is moving.
