Does Spyware Doctor Show Infections Not There

Specs: Windows 7, 3Gb
I had a problem with my PC where a black box would launch every time I opened my browser. It flashed quickly and then wasn't anything I could look at again unless I re-opened the browser. This was not normal behavior for my PC. It started happening after I opened a Zip file of photos from someone.
I ran the free version of SPyware Doctor from PC Tools and it showed a KBG Key Logger. My Anti-Virus that I had didn't pick it up. I purchased the Spyware Doctor to clean up the Key Logger and it appears it didi as the balck box doesn't spring up anymore. However, I have an issue now with freezing up and it takes a really long time to shut down my PC.
My PC shut down fine in the two days following the install, but now can take 10-15 minutes to shut down. I am really concerned. IS theis related to my new Spydoctor program or is there something else going on?
I have Win 7 on a 1 yr old laptop I NEVER had a single issue with until that Zip file. Could the key logger still be on my PC??

a KBG Key Logger.
I would say that was a false positive to get you to buy the product.

number one I never would have paid for that subscription myself as there are other free cleaners that would work just as well.
If you paid for it, contact their tech support and tell them your problem. You are paid so they should help you (but most likely will not answer you back, because all they want is the money and support is pretty non-existant after you buy)

To find out if the keylogger is actually on your PC try
1-rkill.exe (will stop the process)
2-tdss killer (will remove the problem if it exists)

Some HELP in posting on plus free progs and instructions Cheers
