Once the spyware is installed, it pretty much has free reign. I don't know why the cache is your main concern, you should be clearing it out daily (at least) anyway. Do you run a cleaner regularly? If not, why not?

If you want a quick check to see if anything has crept in run these two small freebies from MalwareBytes. They often find what anti-virus programs miss. Run AdwCleaner first:

AdwCleaner:
https://www.malwarebytes.com/adwcle...
Download and "Save" the file somewhere. Go to the saved file then double click it to run the program. Run the "Scan", followed by the "Clean & Repair" if necessary.

MalwareBytes:
https://www.malwarebytes.org/
(use the "Free trial" which can be stopped afterwards if you wish).
After the install go to "Settings > Protection". Under Scan Options move the "Scan for rootkits" slider over to On and Run the Threat Scan. Quarantine anything it finds.

Always pop back and let us know the outcome - thanks

The reason is that the cache holds all the data that passed through. I run CCleaner almost Once a day, but probably should run it daily. Thanks for your reply

Have you a CCleaner icon on your desktop which immediately runs the cleaner when it is double clicked?
If so run it as many times per day as you wish. It won't run the registry cleaner but it will run everything else.

Just in case you don't know the shortcut works using Task Scheduler, like this:
https://www.ghacks.net/2012/06/04/r...

When you get a new Update to CCleaner you have to add /AUTO back into the shortcut target but all the rest stays.

Always pop back and let us know the outcome - thanks
