I have a few select sites (one of which their tech support can't even figure out) and the other is Facebook where, when I log in using what I KNOW are the correct credentials, it fails to login and redirects me to yet another login screen. Thus, I am, in essence, permanently locked out of these sites. Again, this only happens on a FEW sites. But restarting deosn't fix the problem
1) I KNOW I am on the proper site. (NOT a fake site or a phishing portal.)
2) I know the redirect page is a legitimate login page as well.
Is there some type of virus or malware that prevents a proper login and causes a lockout? I've tired Malwarebytes and McAfee Security Scan Plus and neither pick anything up.
Help is appreciated. Thanks!
try trojan remover and hitman pro and fix all they find. They are 30 day fully working trials and fix all they find. When they run clean, uninstall them in 'ALL PROGRAMS'
Do NOT use add/remove as they won't uninstall them properly. Some HELP in posting on Computing.net plus free progs and instructions Cheers
