Please restart your computer into the Safe Mode with Networking option
Log in to the account you normally use
In Safe Mode with Networking, download iExplore.exe or eXplorer.exe, which are renamed copies of RKill:
Save the file to the Desktop, and double-click on it. (For Windows 7, select: Run as Administrator)
Ignore any messages, and allow the file to run until the command window closes.
Try running the Vipre Rescue program. It runs from the command prompt, and will scan for, and remove most malware, including rootkits. It normally runs when other programs won't.

If the file does not download, copy/paste the following >without the quotes or brakets< into the address bar of your browser
Save to the Desktop
Double click on the VIPRE Rescue icon
When it asks if you want to extract VIPRE Rescue Scanner to your computer, click yes.
When the "WinZip Self- Extractor" prompt appears, click: Unzip
By default, it unzips to C:
Make sure the checkbox for "When done unzipping open: .\deep_scan.bat" is checked
After the files are unzipped, click OK
VIPRE Rescue will now run automatically and perform a deep (full) scan. This may take a while.
When it's done, type exit and press enter to close the program.
