is there an easy simple way to deleted this virus ? and if so how ? why can bitdefender not find it and delete it ?
would an earlier System restore point get rid of it?

when I view taskmanager I see about 20 processes of conhost.exe

The conhost.exe process fixes a fundamental problem in the way previous versions of Windows handled console windows,

It’s a completely legitimate executable file—as long as it’s located in the Windows/System32 folder, and is signed by Microsoft.

What makes you so sure it's a virus?

If bitdefender is telling you it is a virus, try running bitdefender in Safe mode.

To find out what conhost.exe is supporting download & run Process Explorer. Hightlight the process in Lower Pane & it will show you the exe that is being supported. Follow the Screen Shots ( SS )

the reason I know its a virus is because I never had this process before. So I became suspicious and assumed its a virus. When I googled this, I saw google has a bout 30 links displaying that it is a virus, also it has slowed down the time it takes for taskmanager to load, what used to be 2 seconds now takes 20 seconds. Here are just some links I found , but my question still remains the same.
