Solved Computer wont start after a reset

Specs: Windows 7
I had norton antivirus come up on my screen saying that i had adware on my computer,so i clicked on it did the whole thing of removing it and it told me to reset.So i did and it wouldnt power down, after about 30 mins i just held the power botton and it went off,but when i tryed to get it to come back on it makes it to the please wait screen after the windows load and it get stuck.If i have to factory its not a big deal but id like to not have to.

The best way of fixing your HD I have found is physically removing it from the pc and then slaving it to another PC and clean it up with virus and malware scans. After that, just pop the drive back into the problem PC and fire it up. 99% chance it will boot right up after that.

I called HP and got the problem,it was a virus and it killed my hard drive but it is under warranty.So i'm sending it to them to fix it but thank you for the help.

be sure to slave it to another PC and save your important pics and files....they will all be GONE when you get your HD back
