tap f8 on startup and choose safemode with networking. Then download some cleaners to repair your PC.
I really don't know why you didn't have an anti-virus prog from the start.

Some HELP in posting on plus free progs and instructions Cheers

Hi, I am having exactly the same problem and I use TrendMicro and they cannot help me either. Have tried so much now (Hijack this, Trend house control, and more). Am sending this from work as I can't get onto this site on my computer. This is a mac and I use a PC, does anyone know of a free hijack/spware/antivirus that I might be able to download onto a USB stick that I can then load onto my computer at home and try to run in safe mode. When I download eg spybot it doesn't open and ask me to save it (so I can save it to the USB stick), it loads onto computer (must be a Mac thing) and I don't want to do that on a work computer.
The virus starts up before Trend does so Trend can find other stuff, just not that one. Can't run it in safe mode either. Have tried Spybot, Spydoctor but the virus has gotten to them too.

Have been back and forth with Trend over a week now and they've all but given up on me (but have offered a technician to hook into my computer to fix problem - if I pay more...)

Here are info that can be useful
1. the URL of the search results
2. what is your browser and what addons it has
