Come on! Quick removal of thinkpoint! No bull

Specs: Windows Vista
I don't trust the explanations for removal of thinkpoint. I think I'll just get more viruses. I don't even know how it got here. I didn't think I asked it to scan.

There are lots of posts about thinkpoint here already.
The simplest removal is
1- rkill.exe
2- tdss killer
3- malwarebytes
Run those 3 in that order.
If that doesn't work and your OS is 32bit you can try combofix
http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/com...
Be sure to do the above 3 FIRST, then try combofix following the guide on the above link website.

I couldn't run malwarebytes due to a blocked cookie I couldn't find. I think I have thinkpoint gotten rid of, but I'll try rkill.exe.

It's just that some of the sites supposed to eliminate the virus don't look trustworthy either! merci

run the ones I suggested, rkill only stops the process, the other 2 will remove any problems they find.
