Specs: windows 8
I downloaded a manual and it went into this "resihelpfullhint pdf. reader. Now when ever I open up a pdf from my email, the page is always this "resihelpfullhints pdsf. reader. How do I get rid of it?

It sounds as if you somehow downloaded a pdf reader and this has taken over from whatever you used before. Are you sure that resihelpfullhint is "exactly right" because I get no hits in Google?

Find a pdf file in the system, double click it and see what reader it opens with or what happens. If it is not working properly try right clicking any save pdf file instead and select "Open with". See what it is now using and look at the other options. Most folk use Adobe Reader and if it's there select it.

If you manage to get your pdf files to open normally then check them in email again. If so go to 'Control Panel > Programs and features' and see if you can find anything there that looks like this "resihelpfullhint pdf. reader". I'm wondering if this might be some sort of Malware but let's see how you get on with the above for now.

Always pop back and let us know the outcome - thanks
