Hi everyone, I am trying to set up a secure wifi but cannot pass the point of "searching for your device, please wait" under the wireless tab on linksys. It froze on 99% and I don't know what to do. Can you please help?

Did you see that error while in the web interface of the router? Did a CD come with the router & did you run it?

Guapo, thank you for trying to help! I go to http://192.168.1.1/wireless.htm, then to Wireless setup but cannot pass this message: "Searching for your client device.
Please wait... If you haven't clicked on the Wi-Fi Protected Setup button on your client device, please do so now. 99%" Got really stuck...
Thanks again!

Let the PC look for the router. Get the WEP or WPA key from http://192.168.1.1
Then view all wireless networks on the PC & connect to your router.

You didn't answer my question about the CD. Did a CD come with the router & did you run it?

Logout & login to that site again. Don't tell it to search for anything.
