Maybe something is corrupt with Internet Explorer. Which version are you running?

Have you tried another Internet browser such as Mozilla Firefox? You probably won't be able download it on your computer so you may need to download on another computer and save it to a flash drive or CD.

Is this a laptop or desktop? If its a laptop, bring it to another location that has Internet access and see if works on their Internet connection. This way we can try to isolate whether the problem exists with your Internet connection or with your computer. You can do this with a desktop computer too but it'll be a hassle to carry.

Does the Internet work OK in 'safe-mode with networking'?
