First try it on the one you can't.
If it fails then on the one that can, save the download file somewhere you can find it, put the download file onto a memory stick then put the memory stick in the first computer and try to run the setup file.

If by any chance the virus prevents MalwareBytes from running, change its EXE extension on the memory stick to CMD, COM, or BAT. If it then installs but won't Run go to the MalwareBytes Program folder and use the same trick to change its program EXE file extension (MBAM.EXE) - you then either run it from there or change the target of its desktop shortcut.

Always pop back and let us know the outcome - thanks

Purchase? Who pays for AV protection these days when there are so many good freebies available?

I agree with #7, BUT, as your s/n suggests....you possibly use it for business so I would suggest Avast Pro in that case, for the extra features and protection.

Sounds like you are infected, so try these FREE progs in the exact order listed:
1- rkill.exe
http://www.technibble.com/rkill-rep...
2- tdss killer
http://support.kaspersky.com/faq/?q...
3- malwarebytes (download the latest version which is on the right side of the page...IGNORE the ads on the left side)
http://www.filehippo.com/download_m...
Do NOT reboot until AFTER the last scan. If that fails to work....try it again, only this time do it in Safe Mode.
