Can I spot a trace on an email

Specs: Windows XP
I have a gmail account. I suspect someone has added a trace like spypig to get a read reply. Is it possible to detect traces and how do you do it.

if you receive his e-mail go here

if you have a hard time to find the headers go here

and go back to the first link and paste the headers
then click "Get Source"

Is it to check wheter there is a read trace in the mail or to trace the mail to it's ip address? I am trying to determine whether the sender added a read trace to the mail to determine my ip address.

Can I tell wheter someone has requested my ip address? Will it show in the header if someone has used a read reply trace, like spypig, to get hold of my ip address?
