Browser Hijacker virus

Specs: Windows 7, AMD Phenom 2 3.4/ 4 gig ddr3
How do I get rid of a browser hijacker/ search engine virus? Ive ran multiple anti spyware programs including spyware doctor, malware bytes, adaware and hijack this...None have been able to pick up on the virus that is hijacking my browser. Every time i search it redirects me to other websites and search pages. In the bottom right corner in firefox right before being redirected I see "waiting for"

try these in the exact order:
1- rkill.exe
2- tdss killer
3- malwarebytes
Don't reboot untill after the last scan

I'm afraid you ran wrong tools. Regular antivirus software may not be able to remove malware that causes search redirects. Also, there might be system modifications, for example hosts file, LAN settings or even changes made to your router. First of all, you should run TDSSKiller and remove rootkits if exist. Also, check your web browser settings following the steps described on this website:

I am having the same problem with being redirected. I also have the csrss.exe trying to access the internet. I really need to try to fix the problem and not wipe it out. I I've been searching all day and have not found an answer. Anyone have any clue on what file may have been modified. Hijackthis did not show anything unususl in the registry.
