Blaster Worm?

Specs: Windows XP Pro
I have been having problems with my work laptop, and pretty sure I have a virus or malware. I thought I had the BlasterWorm, but have been unable to locate it to remove. The program I use for work connects through UDP (?)

In order to get it to connect I have to go to task manager and on the "System" process I go to "End Process Tree" and I get a message saying the computer is going to shutdown (NT/AUTHORITY)... then at Run I type "shutdown -a", and it works fine.

Also getting ad redirects when searching Google.

Any ideas or a log I can post to try and get this resolved? I've tried almost every malware and anti-virus program. If not I guess a re-image is instore... ughhh.

Thanks!

Here is a guide to removing the google redirect virus: http://www.computing.net/howtos/sho...
And tell me what you have used to try and remove the virus? Did you run them in Safe Mode?
Also you should check your Host file for problems:
