blackberry virus moved to avg vault

Specs: Windows 7

I have a BB Curve & I took lots of photos on it that I was unable to view on my phone (dont know why) its like they never existed so I plugged the BB into my pc hoping to go bout it via the J: & AVG moved it to the vault.

I want to view & keep the photos (obviously) but I dont know how to go about it and if I restore from virus vault it wont let me open it anyway.

Hope this made sense to you...

They may have been corrupted by saving them to a faulty memory card, but I doubt they became infected whilst on your BlackBerry (not impossible but very rare).

Antivirus software can give you "false positives" where a file is tagged as infected when in fact it's not -- a false alarm.

Some av software is worse than others at doing that, and when it occurs you need a "second opinion" - this means using a different antivirus to see how that deals with your pics. Try this free one:

Important - You must uninstall AVG entirely before any other antivirus can be installed.
