BitDefender detects translator install exe file as virus
Ginger
Application.InstallCore.HR
Some more translating applications detected as a threat.
Application.Agent.IIH

Why?
What to do? I need to use translator. Should I install Ginger?
Suggest some translation softwares. Thanks

Is it legal software? What's the name of it?

Ginger v3.7.220 is a spell checker, not a translator.

I just downloaded Ginger Translate from here.

Scanned it with 2 tools & it is clean.
No warnings during install.
If you downloaded it from the same place, BitDefender is giving a false positive.

I think its actually a good thing that it Detects it- there is nothing worse than some Service Provider or wifi Owner - trying to sneak in / Silently programs you did not ask for into your PC
