✔ Best Answer
Any reputable one. Eset Nod32, Kaspersky, and Avast are 3 I like, any of them would be ok in my books.

I agree HopperRox! I would also add AVG Free to the mix. All Great (and free) AVs!

Just be sure to stay away from Microsoft Security Essentials...

'Just be sure to stay away from Microsoft Security Essentials...' I agree with that and feel that Avast free is probably the best.

The idea of choosing the best AV is to prevent you from getting the virus in the first place. Once it has taken hold you will probably need more specialized tools to get shot of it.

For starters install and run malwarebytes freebie because this can find and fix many viruses:

'I think norton is the best. It keep your important data and information safe from virus and malware attacks and it gives good " Antivirus Services " to her customer.'

Yes, at $100 extra to help remove viruses...not a good choice in my opinion! Looks like Norton is hiring people to keep suggesting their product...things must be getting tough for them...LOL

Yes, I agree with you. Here is a link to a KB document which explains the step-by-step instructions - https://support.norton.com/sp/en/us...

"I think norton is the best....etc"

Can't find that - has a response been removed (Norton spam maybe)?

Seems we've not heard from the original poster since April 18 anyway.

Always pop back and let us know the outcome - thanks
