Avira Free detecting Trojan.Crypt.ZPACK.Gen

November 11, 2010 at 09:04:41
Specs: Windows 7
I've gotten about a zillion pop-ups from Avira this morning telling me it has detected the Crypt.ZPACK.Gen trojan, yet when I try to follow the various removal procedures I've found on the internet, the trojan doesn't seem to be there. There aren't any suspicious processes running in Task Manager, and no connected registry entries to be deleted.

Is it likely this is a false positive? (For what it's worth, I'm running Avast Free, as well, and it hasn't detected anything.)

More info: It says it has been detected in the 'C:\Windows\Temp\_avast5_\unp26201419.tmp folder' - which is linked to Avast Free. Bizarre.
