I keep getting a popup message from my Avast anti virus that it has succesfully blocked a "malicious url". It occurs while I am on a "safe" page such as yahoo! Occurs every few minutes. Then, after about 10 of these I get a MS Explorer message that there is a problem and needs to close. I have to shut down my whole browser. This also disconnects my modem. When I try to reconnect it says I don't have a modem. I have to shut down the whole computer and reboot, then I can reconnect and the whole process starts over. I have done an Avast scan and found nothing. Is there some other anti virus I should run?
