Thank you for such fast reply. I have Sonic Roxio RecordNow as noted in link although not downloaded recently.
Do you think i should still check more to see if some maleware is masquerading as sonic? or can we be sure if the aswMBR is safe because i have Sonic on my computer?

I think you can rest assured that all is well. If you are still unsure then download Malwarebytes (free edition) and run a check.

thank you. I have done three days worth of cleaning. I had some other problems that came up. It is well now. thanks for your help. I have malewarebytes now too! Happy Happy Day!
