Hello all,

Just a quick question...

I was surfing the net and went on a site that caused me to get a program that is called Antivir Solution Pro. It has completely taken over my other laptop and ALL protection programs are disabled, win media player will not open...system restore is gone, in other words...everything is gone and disabled. The laptop boots up, but NOTHING can be clicked on. That program keeps popping up a window that says the file cannot be executed the file was corrupted. It did that on EVERTHING that I tried to open.

My only option is to do a recovery seeing how restore will not work as well. Can I hold on to my files and work doing a recovery?? There is only one program I forgot to back up my work and would hate to lose it, but if it goes...

If you need more info, please let me know.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you for your help. I could NOT even get that to work. It completely took over EVERYTHING on my laptop. I had to do an FDISK to actually FINALLY be rid of it. I tried to recover with the recovery disks, it did, but the monster was still there. I could not even do a restore, let alone scan.

Thanks for your reply and all should be ok now.
