Syedassad,

The virus that caused this did not actually turn anything into .exe files, they are just hidden.

Download Unhide.exe to your Desktop:
http://download.bleepingcomputer.co...

If the file does not download, copy/paste the following link >without brackets< in the address bar of your browser:

Right click on unhide.exe and select: 'Run as Administrator'

Allow the program to run.

This program removes the hidden attribute from all the files on your hard drives.

Let us know how it goes.

Try the following:

Please download ExeFix.reg:
http://download.bleepingcomputer.co...

Connect your USB flash drive

Save ExeFix.reg to the flash drive

Boot the computer into the account that has trouble running exe files.

Double-click ExeFix.reg, and confirm the prompt to allow it to merge.

Syedassad,

There is no need to call me 'Sir'. No formalities required. You can just call me aaflac44.

See if you can go to:
http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorial...

Keep your USB drive inserted.

In the Default Windows 7 File Extension Types, click: EXE

Save the file to the Desktop

A Default_exe.reg file appears on the Desktop

Right-click: Default_exe.reg, and select: 'Run as Administrator'

Allow the reg file to merge into the Registry

Restart the computer.

Ler us know how it goes. If this does not work, we will need to dig deeper...
