I have AVG, Malwarebytes and ADAware, plus spybot., blacklight. NONE of them are detecting anything yet AVG keeps popping up informing me of exploitblackholeexploit and now win32.backdoor.ircbot. IceSword has pointed out 15 problems in the registry yet none of these programs are doing a thing to eliminate the problem. I have anit-hijacked firefox and IE7, I have started in Safe Mode and have tried to download more anti virus pgms which will not install. agggghhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

I will now answer myself. If anyone else gets continously re-directed to google and bing and fake places and get all kinds of madness going on in your computer, you might have the Rootkit.TDSS. There is something called the TDSSkiller here: You can download it quickly and it WILL find it. I like malwarbytes and all the others recommended over and over and ran them over and over but they were useless. Spybot found "searchpixiebar" and Microsoft Security Essentials found tons of cookies. AVG was dismantled. Today after FINALLY coming across the TDSSkiller, I was able to re-install AVG again. It immediately found something that was mimicking IceSword. I have IceSword on a disc, not even in my computer. I did run it and it came up with some Questions but I didn't know what to do about them. This rootkit is a tricky little b---tard! Good luck. Nancy
