ACER has 'stolen' space on my Dell via a tunn

March 25, 2011 at 00:17:39
Specs: Windows Vista, RAM 2.00GB
ACER infiltrated my Dell via a tunnel thru my security. I was forced to 'share' my computer with a 'group' of media/music seekers. I tried to delete and remove what I could but my systems crashed. I'm working on the restore and saw that the file wizaed was used for ACER to relocate to my laptop. How can I secure my system so they can't come back and how can I get them off my laptop?
P.S. Is it worth it to file ic3 with the feds?

Did you install some software that caused this behavior? What were you seeing that made you believe this had happened?

I had a clean computer w/Windows XP2. It started acting unstable; upon investion I found "Group" under Users and 'shadow' programs that the programmer and I DID NOT install. I freaked out and started deleting all sorts of 'operating' programs-disabling my computer-and then I left my computer OFF for 4 days, returned to find that the File Wizard had been used, I had gain spaced (unfortunely my daughters laptop gained what was on my computer via the File Wizard). Somewhere, in the this file/program shuffle, I did see ACER. Acer had nothing to do with either computer up until now. Can you help? Thanks for your interest either way.
