win7 create macro to insert text into a form

January 18, 2012 at 04:01:38
Specs: Windows 7
Many of the wed sites I visit require me to enter my email address etc. Can I assign a function hey combination to do this? For example: "CTRL + E" to insert my email address.
Thanks

You could use the auto-complete function of your web browser. Just about all browsers have that feature, and if they don't, they are probably extensible. If you are using Internet Explorer, do yourself a favor and switch to Google Chrome or Firefox.
