Specs: Pc
Someone turned my userprofilelist files into a bak files using command prompt I managed to find the files they are
grooveintlresouce.dll.94f42d.bak
grooveex.dll.aa80a12.bak
office.odf.67ea7b4.bak
My question is will deleting the.bak from the files names put them back where they need to be? If so, what is the command to do it from command prompt if not what do I need to do to get the files where they used to be and what command prompt do you use?

Here is where They were and where I need to get them using command prompt

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\ProfileList.

You will have to rename those three .bak files so that .bak is changed to the correct filename extension (I don't know what it should be).

Renaming them to the correct filename extension will not move them to the correct location, you'll have to do that manually in Windows using "Copy/Paste".
