|I purchased the book Build a Program NOW!, Brand New with Microsoft Visual C# 2005 Express Edition. It comes with the Visual C# 2005 express on CD which I haven't opened, because before I got the book I had downloaded the Visual C# 2005 Express ISO from Microsoft when it was Available for free. So I installed the one I got from Microsoft instead of opening my CD that I purchased with my book. |
My Question is about Registering the product it keeps asking me to register and since I didn't buy the version I have installed I am wondering if they will let me register it with out claiming that I obtained it illegally, they gave it away for free and still do I think but the program says different stuff.
Inside the program the about window has "Warning: This computer program is protected by copyright law and international treaties. Unauthorized reproduction or distribution of this program, or any portion of it, may result in severe civil and criminal penalties, and will be prosecuted to the maximum extent possible under the law.
I installed the version I downloaded from the Microsoft website and not from the CD I purchased, I guess my question is does it matter whether I purchased Visual C# 2005 Express Edition or Not and am I able to register it even if I didn't legally purchase the version I have installed.
